Saturday Swap

Today's swap is one I received from my good friend and downline, Dawn. She cased this card from a past issue of Stampin' Success and it's just adorable! The little dresses are created with the Owl Punch. And while the pleated ribbon she used is now retired, you could use any ribbon you have on hand and pleat it yourself. Thanks Dawn for sharing!

Two by Two for a Swap

Today's card is another I made a while back, for a swap. This stamp is so cute for a baby card and I love that it is gender neutral. I water colored it with my ink pads and an Aqua Painter. Fun and simple!

Alien Friends

 

OK, I made this card a while ago, shortly after I returned home from Convention last year. And I know I'm probably not the first person to think of turning the Owl Punch upside down to make aliens, but I have not seen them before and thought of this on my own so I was so proud of myself once I created this card. It will surely be one I won't be giving away. Super cute and pretty simple to create. The aliens are made by turning the owl upside down and I used the hearts from the same punch to create the feet. It's hard to tell from the photo, but for the moon I covered it in Crystal Effects and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on it before it dried. It looks so cool!

Feeling Sentimental

Here is another sneak peek from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration catalog. I know it's early for Fathers Day but knowing me it's good to get a jump start! I absolutely love this stamp set and can't wait to share it with my stamp club! This card was pretty simple. I stamped the image in Black Staz On and water colored it with and Aqua Painter. I'm not sure if I like the top part or not, but I wanted to play around with the new edgelits that I recently ordered and this is what I thought of.....What do you think?

Each participant takes turns being the hostess and receiving the hostess benefits. Friday, February 23rd - Card Buffet Class - 1:00-4:00pm - Just like a food buffet, you can pick and choose which cards you make, and how many of them. The $13 fee covers your minimum of 6 cards. You can make more at $1.50 per card. All supplies, tools and envelopes are included! Varieties will include birthday, thanks you's, and seasonal occasions. This event is open from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Arrive by 3:00pm at the latest to ensure time to complete at least 6 cards. Great event for beginners and experienced alike. Winter White Sparkles

 

Here is another card that we made in stamp club this last weekend. It's an all white card and I think it's just stunning in person. As normal it's hard to see, but the snowflakes have Dazzling Diamonds which make it pop! I love glitter! I also used the new Paper Doilies and the large Rhinestones from the Spring Catalog.

Butterflies and Honeycombs

 

This is one of the cards we made this last weekend with my Stamp Club. I cased the card from the Spring Catalog and switched it up a bit by using butterflies instead of hearts. I love this new honeycomb embossing folder, so many uses and not just spring. I think it would create a perfect background for a masculine card as well!
