General Swaps for Convention

Here are my swaps I made for general swapping at Convention.

This card has minimal layers, but a great focal point with the flower and butterfly.

This card is much more stunning in person as you can see the bling of the rhinestones all over the card.

This card uses the Ronald McDonald stamp set in this years catalog. We actually received this set for free on the last day of Convention so whom ever swapped with me for this card, you already have an idea of how to use it.

I think these cards are pretty self explanatory if you wanted to recreate them, however if you have any questions at all or would like a detail recipe please feel free to email me.

Fun Friday - Convention 2011 Highlights

Today I wanted to share some fun pictures from last years Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City. As I share these with you today I am busy, busy, busy preparing for this year's Convention, which is in a little over a week! If you know me, you know I take hundreds of swaps to Convention and this year will be no different. I've been working steadily for the last month, along with some wonderful helpers, and I am happy to say we are almost done! I can't wait to see what beautiful displays Stampin' Up! shares with us this year. Here are just a few from last year, enjoy!

My wonderfull sidelines, Mindy & Kelly, who attended Convention with me last year!

The Main stage which is where Shelly spoke to us each day and we got to see lots of stamping demonstrations as well!

Saturday Swap

Today's swap is from Susan Creer. This is the new 2012/2013 Ronald McDonald Set from Stampin' Up! Proceeds from the sale of this set go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. I love how Susan used the colors from the Designer Series Paper to help make the focal point "pop". I think this set is going to be one of my favorites!

Fun Friday Stamp Club Swap

This was my swap for June's stamp club meeting. The Designer Series Paper is retired Sale-A-Bration, however I loved it and I have a lot of it left. I used the Doily Sizzlet as my focal point. This card is pretty simple and pretty, but don't let the looks fool you. If any of you have used the Doily Sizzlet you know it requires a bit of patience to pop out all the little holes!

Scrapbook Class Project

This is one of the layouts from my last Scrapbook Class that the girls got to make. I have to say that scrapbooking is a synch when you use Stampin' Up's! punches. It's basically punch art, which embellishes the page for any occasion. If you’re interested in joining us, this is a monthly class and you can join us anytime. Because it's on going each month you can continue until you have a full scrapbook or just when you can make it! Our next meeting is July 5th at 6:30pm, email me if you would like more information or would like to join us. The cost is $7 or free with a $25 Stampin' Up! order.
