MOJO 186: Homegrown Radish

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

I choose to use the Homegrown Stamp Set for this weeks card. I also used the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper as it reminds me of little radishes. There are many layers on this card with different textures achieved from the Polka Dot Embossing Folder as well as the Paper Piercing Tool to make some faux stitching. I colored the radish with the Water Color Crayons and an Aqua Painter. The sentiment was punched with the Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch and I finished it off with a few Basic Pearls.

Stamps: Homegrown
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White

Bring on the Cake Birthday Card

This was a quick birthday card I made using the Bring on the Cake stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. This set has so many options for birthday cards and is only available thru the end of April. I stamped the greeting on Crumb Cake cardstock with Black Staz On. I then cut it out and put a think layer of Crystal Effects to give it some dimension. I used the Rich Regals Designer Series Paper in Always Artichoke for the background and finished it off with the 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.

Stregnth & Hope

Here is a card I made for a recent swap I joined. It features a new stamp set from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog! It's called Strength & Hope and for every set that is purchased Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to  The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I am so excited for this set because I absolutely love the butterfly! This card was quite simple in that most of it is stamped with Pretty in Pink Classic ink on Whisper White cardstock. I then added a Basic Pearl to each butterfly and topped each one off with a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Ornate Blossom Thank You

Here is a thank you card I made with the Ornate Blossom that I received for free during Sale-A-Bration. This card is quite simple, yet elegant. I stamped the blossom in More Mustard on the Whisper White Cardstock and then the thank you from the With All My Heart stamp set in Early Espresso Classic ink. And guess what? Everyone who places and online order with me in April will receive one of these cards in the mail!
