Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #11


Here is my card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #11:


This card has very little layers so it would make the perfect Christmas card for mailing. Often when I do very little layers I will emboss the base card to give the card more depth. For this one I embossed it using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. My focal point is Dasher and I embellished the card with Basic Rhinestones; some plain and some that I colored with permanent markers.


Here is a close up of the Basic Rhinestones. Ever since I learned that it is possible to color them I am constantly asking myself if I can color a rhinestone to go with the card. I hope you enjoy it!

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler
Card stock: Crumb Cake, Holly Berry DSP, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

    I especially like how you did the NOEL..that was very clever way to get your button or bow or in this case a sentiment in...wonderful card the the deer with the gemstones is a very nice touch.
