MOJO 190: The Open Sea for a Friend

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch

I was going through my cards this weekend and I just don't have enough Masculine cards. I think those are my biggest challenge and since Father's Day is coming up I figured I should probably start focusing on cards for Men. I used The Open Sea stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog along with the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper. I stamped the sentiment from All Holidays. I created lots of layers and textures using the Square Lattice and Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folders. I also used the Scallop Circles #2 and the Circles #2 BigZ Dies. I embellished the card with some Neutrals Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, and Early Espresso 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon. The final touch was the anchor which I carefully cut out, applied Crystal Effects to it and sprayed it with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz.
