Gift for a Friend

Today's project is one that I cased from Elizabeth Price. I received a similar swap at convention back in July. This would make a wonderful gift for your children (or yourself) to give to their friends. It might be hard to see but in the bag are Hersey Kisses. This would be that much better if you filled it with the special Holiday Kisses that come out this time of year!

Stamps: You're a Gem
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Card stock:Cherry Cobbler, Indigo Island, Crumb Cake, Newsprint DSP
Accessories: Perfect Pennants Die, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Stars Die, Small Oval Punch, Small Cello Bag, Linen Thread, Dimensionals

Snow!

I don't have a card for you today, however I wanted to share some photos with you of the snow we got earlier this week. This is the first one of the year and we got 6 inches. Enjoy....

These are some photos of our back yard.

And this next photo is of our front yard. There was no getting out of the house for two days; at least not for me!

Freshly Made Sketches # 14

Here is my card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #14:

I just love this weeks sketch! I had so many ideas I wanted to use with this card, and I finally decided that I would use my favorite stamps set from the Holiday Mini Catalog which is You Are Loved. And I got a little creative again and partnered it with the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper. I finished it off with some Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and there you have it. I love how the card is so soft and dainty. What do you think? Am I making you fall in love with this stamp set as much as I did? It really is very versatile!

Stamps: You Are Loved
Ink:More Mustard, Pool Party, Pear Pizazz, Soft Suede
Card stock: Soft Suede, Spice Cake DSP, Pool Party, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Designer Label Punch, Oval Punch, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Linen Thread, Dimensionals

MOJO 218: Wild for Stripes

Here is my card for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge:

My inspiration for this card came from the Pick Your Poison Designer Series Paper. This is the last month for the current Holiday Mini Catalog and I still have lots of this DSP so I wanted to find a way to use it in a non Halloween way. It's perfect for a masculine card! I stamped the zebra from Zoo Review twice and actually cut one completely out and layered it over the first one with Dimensionals. And it wouldn't be complete with some stripes from the Stripes Embossing Folder. What do you think?

Stamps:Zoo Review
Ink: Black Staz On, Basic Gray
Card stock:Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Gray, Pick Your Poison DSP
Accessories: Dimensionals, Aqua Painter, 2 1/2" Circle Punch

Saturday Swap

Today's swap was made by my friend Mindy. I actually received this several month ago after we returned from the Stampin' Up! Convention in July. She was my room mate in Salt Lake City and this gave me the opportunity to get to know her a lot better. She is a wonderful person and extremely creative. This card makes me laugh because while we were at Convention she often mentioned how she wasn't too fond of the Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper, yet isn't this card amazing. It just goes to show you how creative she is; she can take something she doesn't like much and make it into something wonderful! Thank you, Mindy!

Stamp Club Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak at the project we will be making in tomorrow's Stamp Club. It's a special project, over the top, as a little Holiday present to my club members!
