Plane & Simple.....Say Goodbye!

Today is the last day to order from the Occasions Mini Catalog!

I thought I would share one last simple card. I stamped the plane from the Plane & Simple Stamp Set in Soft Suede. For the background I used a piece of the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper. I made a little tag by hand to "fly" behind the plane and finished it off with a button. Pretty "plane" and simple, huh!

MOJO188: On the Go Preview

Ok, I fianlly got this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch done:

This weeks card has a little bit from the Occasions Mini Catalog, and features a new stamp set from the new Summer Mini which will be available May1st. This is just one of the advantages of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - I get to order from the new catalog a month early!

For today's card I used the On the Go Stamp Set and water colored the flowers with the Water Color Crayons and an Aqua Painter. I cut the circle and the scallop circle using the Big Shot Machine. I used  some soon to be gone First Edition Designer Series Paper for the background. I created lots of textures using the the Perfect Polka Dot and Square Lattice Embossing Folder. To finish it off I made some pretty little flowers using the Boho Blossom Punch; I think this is my favorite part of this card!

Swap to Share!

Today I wanted to share a swap I received from Jeanne Boulay, isn't it stunning! It's card made entirely of Whisper White Card Stock. There are many different textures to help the focal point of the card stand out which is the flower from the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die and the Big Shot Machine. The different textures are achieved using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. To finish it off she added a Basic Pearl to the center of the flow. Thanks for sharing Jeanne!

Love Impressions Designer Series Paper

Today's card features the Love Impressions Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog. You'd probably think that you can only use this paper for Valentines Day but today I will show you something different. I cut the "All You Need is Love" from the the 12 x 12 sheet and embellished it with the Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon and attached it to the front of my card. Inside I also used more of the DSP and stamped it with "Congratulations." Now I have the perfect Wedding Shower or Anniversary card using my "Valentine's" DSP. How clever is that!

Wish Big

Today's card is a fun Masculine Birthday cards using more stamp sets and DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Don't forget you only have until the end of the month to order from this catalog. Be sure to check it out if you haven't already:

I used the Bring On the Cake stamp set and stamped it in black, then sponged around the card stock in black as well. For my background I used the Newsprint Designer Series Paper and I sponged the edges in black as well. For an added embellishment I used the Star Punch with the Real Red Glimmer Paper and a Black Glimmer Brad, all popped up with a Dimensional.

Glimmer for Graduation

Today I would like to share a card that would be perfect for one of those graduations coming up soon. I punched three Stars from the Real Red Glimmer Paper and inserted a Silver Glimmer Brad; both from the Occasions Mini Catalog. These are popped up using Dimensionals and I gave it a subtle background using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and the Big Shot Machine. The sentiment if from the Tiny Tiny Wishes stamp set and I punch it using the Slot Punch and encased that with some more Glimmer Paper punched with the Modern Label Punch. How easy is that?

Stamps: Tiny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Night of Navy

MOJO187: Strawberries n' Things

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch and I think it's my best one yet!

This card took quite a bit of time but I must say it's absolutely beautiful! I've seen these strawberries before and have been wanting to try them out; for today's sketch it just went perfectly with the layout. The strawberry is made using the Scallop Heart Die along with the Little Leaves Die which I ran through the Big Shot Machine. I used the Boho Blossom Punch and Daffodil Delight Brads  for the little strawberry flowers. There are many layers and lots of Dimensionals. I did some faux stitching with the Mat Pack, Paper Piercer, and Gel Pen. I used the Eyelet Border Trim Punch for the scallops along the bottom. I topped it off with some Whisper White Satin Ribbon, and a little tag stamped with the You're a Gem stamp set which I punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch in Real Red, and another Whisper White 1 1/4" Circle Punch.

Stamps: You're a Gem
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red

Botanical Gazzette for Mother

Good morning and happy Monday to everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend; I know I did! This week I will be sharing cards using items from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The items in the Occasions Mini Catalog will only be available thru the end of April, and there are no guarantees any of the items will be carried over to the big catalog in July. Usually only one or two stamp sets make it so if you have your eye on something I would recommend ordering it before the end of the month, plus if you spend $20 this month your eligible to partake in the Spring is Blossoming promotion as well!

Now, back to my card. This very simple card was made using the Botanical Gazette Designer Series Paper as my focus. I embellished it with a Designer Button in Cherry Cobbler and the sentiment for Mother's Day is from the hostess set in the Occasions Mini Catalog called Something to Celebrate. Well I hope everyone has a fabulous week and we'll see you tomorrow!

Stamps: Something to Celebrate

MOJO 186: Homegrown Radish

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

I choose to use the Homegrown Stamp Set for this weeks card. I also used the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper as it reminds me of little radishes. There are many layers on this card with different textures achieved from the Polka Dot Embossing Folder as well as the Paper Piercing Tool to make some faux stitching. I colored the radish with the Water Color Crayons and an Aqua Painter. The sentiment was punched with the Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch and I finished it off with a few Basic Pearls.

Bring on the Cake Birthday Card

This was a quick birthday card I made using the Bring on the Cake stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. This set has so many options for birthday cards and is only available thru the end of April. I stamped the greeting on Crumb Cake cardstock with Black Staz On. I then cut it out and put a think layer of Crystal Effects to give it some dimension. I used the Rich Regals Designer Series Paper in Always Artichoke for the background and finished it off with the 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.

Cardstock: Crumb cake, Early Espresso

Stregnth & Hope

Here is a card I made for a recent swap I joined. It features a new stamp set from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog! It's called Strength & Hope and for every set that is purchased Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to  The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I am so excited for this set because I absolutely love the butterfly! This card was quite simple in that most of it is stamped with Pretty in Pink Classic ink on Whisper White cardstock. I then added a Basic Pearl to each butterfly and topped each one off with a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Stamps: Strength & Hope
Cardstock: Crumb cake, Blushing Bride, Whisper White
